Fri, 10 October 2008 Future Rock is excited to share with you the fifth installment of the FR [podcast], entitled NYE2008 Preview.
This podcast is unlike any of our other ones, as it feature studio tracks AND tracks from other artists. We've created this as a "preview" to this year's FR New Years Eve party. That's right, we're throwing down at home in Chicago IL, at the ABBEY PUB with experimental monome master DAEDELUS and electro-disco producer duo DARK PARTY (featuring ELIOT LIPP and LEO123). We could not be more excited, as this show will end a phenomenal year for us. This podcast also features a yet-to-be released track from DARK PARTY's forthcoming album. Enjoy the music. NYE2008 figures to be one to remember, as we will be hosting the party
complete with a complementary champagne toast and option
for a VIP package that includes open-bar, hors d'oeuvres and a reserved
section on a first-come first-serve basis. This show will go late and
hard. Don't miss out.
Get your tickets here.TRACK LISTING for NYE2008 PREVIEW: STATUS - by Dark Party - from the album "Light Years" FAIR WEATHER FRIENDS - by Daedelus - from the album "Love To Make Music To" KILL, LATE - by Future Rock - from the album "GEARS" |
Thu, 14 August 2008 Future Rock is excited to share with you the fourth installment of the FR [podcast], entitled No Rain. This podcast documents an especially rowdy set in front of the hometown crowd. We apologize for some of the repeats on the playlist; and we are obliged to tell the story behind the title. This actually marked the first festival appearance for FR this entire summer that it did not rain during the performance. And there’s nothing better than coming home to a rabid crowd, some 8000 big, in our favorite neighborhood, Wicker Park. Needless to say, we had fun. This also marks the first “release” of a new tune, entitled Reaching New Heitz. Enjoy!
